Terms of use

Last updated 3 November 2026

In short: MakeMeABill is free and needs no account. You are responsible for checking every document you create, because we don’t provide accounting, tax or legal advice. Please use the service fairly and lawfully. It is provided as-is, and our liability is limited as far as the law allows.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use MakeMeABill (makemeabill.com), which is operated by UKKALO-F.Z.E (“we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to them. If you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that business. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2. The service is free

MakeMeABill lets you create, customise, download and print invoices and similar business documents. It is free to use. There are no paid tiers, trials or watermarks, and no limit on the number of documents you create. We may add new tools or document types, and change or remove features, at any time. If we ever introduce paid features, we will say so clearly before you are charged anything.

3. No account required

You don’t need to register, sign in or give us your email address. Documents are created in your browser, and any unfinished draft is stored only on your device. We don’t keep copies of your documents, so we can’t recover them for you. Please keep your own copy of every document you send.

4. Your responsibilities for your documents

  • Check everything before you send it. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the documents you create, including names, addresses, tax registration numbers, quantities, prices, tax rates, discounts, totals, dates and payment details.
  • Meet your legal obligations. Invoicing, tax and record-keeping rules differ between countries, regions and industries. They can require specific wording, numbering, languages, currencies or electronic formats. It is up to you to make sure your documents meet the rules that apply to you.
  • Use only content you have the right to use. Only upload logos, signatures and other material you own or are authorised to use.
  • Keep your device secure. If you use a shared or public computer, turn off draft saving or clear your saved data when you finish.

5. No accounting, tax or legal advice

MakeMeABill is a document tool. Its templates, calculations, presets (such as a country preset), guides and answers to frequently asked questions are general information only. They are not accounting, tax, financial or legal advice, and using the service doesn’t create any professional relationship. If you are unsure what your documents must contain or how tax applies, ask a qualified professional. See our disclaimer.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • create documents for fraud, deception, money laundering, tax evasion or any other unlawful purpose, or impersonate another person or business;
  • use the service in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights;
  • interfere with the service or its security. This includes overloading it, bypassing rate limits or other protections, probing for vulnerabilities without permission, or attempting to access systems or data that aren’t meant for you;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the service at scale, or to send fake usage or feedback data;
  • copy, resell or redistribute the service, its software or its templates as a competing product or service.

We may block or restrict access, including from particular networks, if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

7. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, templates and content, belongs to us or our licensors. You keep all rights in the information you enter. You may freely use, send and print the documents you create, including for commercial purposes. We claim no ownership of them.

8. Privacy

Our privacy policy and cookie & analytics notice explain what information we process and why.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep MakeMeABill available and working well, but we don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available in every country or on every device. We may suspend, change or discontinue all or part of the service, temporarily or permanently, for example for maintenance, security or legal reasons.

10. The service is provided “as is”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that generated documents will be accepted by your customers, tax authorities or anyone else.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service. This includes errors in documents, penalties or tax assessed against you, or unpaid invoices. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to USD 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

12. Links to other websites

The service may link to other websites, such as tax authority guidance. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates, and disputes will be handled by the courts there. This doesn’t take away any mandatory protections you have under the laws of the country where you live.
