In short: MakeMeABill doesn’t use cookies, advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Your browser stores your draft so you don’t lose work. Our own analytics are cookieless and store nothing on your device. You can switch them off with Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
Cookies
Our website does not set cookies. We don’t use advertising, social-media or cross-site tracking cookies, or similar technologies such as tracking pixels.
If our hosting provider detects an attack, it may temporarily ask browsers to pass a security check. During that check it can set a short-lived, strictly necessary security cookie. It is used only to protect the website, not to track you.
Browser storage we use
These items are stored in your browser so that the tool works as you’d expect. They never leave your device, and we can’t read them. Because they are needed for features you choose to use, they don’t require consent. You can switch draft saving off in the generator.

To remove everything, use Clear saved data in the generator’s “⋯” menu, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
How our analytics work
We measure how the service is used, for example how many people open the generator and download a PDF, and which templates are popular. We do this with our own analytics, not with a third-party service, and without cookies or browser storage:
- When you use the site, it sends a small event, such as “PDF downloaded”, to our server.
- From the request your browser sends anyway, our server derives your approximate country, device type, browser and operating system. It also derives a monthly-changing visitor identifier, so we can count unique visitors without cookies.
- We store a shortened IP address for 30 days and usage events for 13 months. Events never include what you type into a document.

How to opt out
- Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track: if your browser sends either signal, the site sends no usage events at all. The tool works exactly the same.
- Content blockers: blocking requests to this site’s
/api/collectaddress also stops analytics, without affecting the generator.
Changes
If we ever introduce cookies or similar technologies that aren’t strictly necessary, we will update this notice first. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before using them.
