Tips for using a free invoice generator well
- Keep a copy of every PDF. We don’t store invoices, so save each one in a folder or your accounting records.
- Use a consistent numbering format. When you start a new invoice, the next number is suggested automatically.
- Check tax rates yourself. You choose the rate for each line; the generator doesn’t look rates up.
- Turn off draft saving on shared computers. You’ll find the option in the “⋯” menu inside the generator.

Is this invoice generator free?
Yes. Every feature is free to use: all five templates, logo upload, PDF download and printing. There is no trial, no watermark and no limit on how many invoices you create.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no signup, login or email verification. Open the generator and start typing.
Is my invoice information uploaded to a server?
No. Editing, calculations and PDF creation all happen in your browser. An unfinished draft is saved only on your device (in browser storage) for up to 30 days so it survives a refresh, and you can turn this off or clear it at any time. We record cookie-free usage events such as “PDF downloaded” (with approximate country and device type), but never the contents of your invoice.
Can I download an invoice as a PDF?
Yes. Click “Download PDF” and an A4 PDF is created in your browser, named after the invoice number (for example Invoice-INV-0001.pdf). Long invoices continue onto extra pages with page numbers.
Are the invoices legally compliant?
The templates include the details most invoices need, but invoicing and tax rules differ by country and industry. We can’t guarantee that an invoice meets every legal requirement, so please check your local rules or ask an accountant.
