Look established on every invoice

Upload your logo, choose a template that suits your brand and pick an accent colour. Your logo appears exactly the same in the preview, the PDF and print. The Professional Business template puts your logo in a coloured header; Classic and Clean Corporate suit more traditional customers.

Invoice numbering that holds up

Most tax authorities expect invoice numbers to be unique and sequential. Pick a format and stick to it — for example INV-0001 or 2026-001 if you restart each year. When you start a new invoice, the generator suggests the next number and keeps your business, payment and design settings so you only fill in what changed.

Tax, discounts and extra charges

  • Tax per line: rename the tax to VAT, GST or sales tax and set the right rate on each item.
  • Discounts: a percentage or fixed discount is applied before tax and shared across lines in proportion to their value.
  • Additional charges: delivery, installation or card fees, each with their own tax rate if needed.
  • Part payments: show deposits received and the balance due.

Keeping records

Many countries require businesses to keep copies of invoices for several years. Because this tool doesn’t store invoices on a server, save each PDF in a consistent place — for example a folder per year named by invoice number — and record payments in your bookkeeping.

When you’ll outgrow a generator

If you’re issuing invoices every day, need payment tracking and reminders, or your country requires structured e-invoices, accounting software will save time. Until then, a generator keeps things simple and costs nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about how the generator works.

Can I use different tax rates on one invoice?

Yes. Each line item has its own tax percentage. The invoice shows a separate total for each rate, for example VAT 20% and VAT 5%, and items with no tax are left out of the tax lines.

Where do I put a customer’s purchase order number?

Use the “PO / reference number” field in invoice details. It’s printed alongside the invoice number and dates.

Does the generator keep copies of my invoices?

No. Invoices are created on your device and only the current draft is saved in your browser. Save every PDF you send in your own records.

Can I add my company logo?

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP image up to 5 MB. The image is resized on your device and appears on both the preview and the PDF. SVG files are not accepted.

Can I add VAT or GST?

Yes. Each line item has its own tax percentage, and you can rename the tax to VAT, GST, sales tax or anything else. Different rates are totalled separately. Invoice discounts are applied before tax. You enter the rates yourself; the generator does not look up or verify tax rates.

Are the invoices legally compliant?

The templates include the details most invoices need, but invoicing and tax rules differ by country and industry. We can’t guarantee that an invoice meets every legal requirement, so please check your local rules or ask an accountant.
